The purpose of what we do is provide an community for those interested in joining. There are four different types of member
ship.
- Firefighter- Takes on the roll of a firefighter in our chatroom and is assigned to a specific unit or engine.
- Firemedic- Takes on the rolls of a firefighter but also has the roll of a medic/EMT as well and can operate either Fire/EMS
apparatus during a call.
- Medic-Takes on the roll of straight up medic personell responds with an ambulance only in our chat room ( some expierience
required see requirements)*exceptions can be made**
- Dispatcher/TCO-Dispatcher or a TCO (telecommunications officer) is the person in our chat room that during a call will
put out the dispatch. Again with this there is no requirements at all we have to different classes of dispatcher. Dispatcher
is a TCO (online) Class A dispatcher certification through us are basic dispatchers. A TCO with Class B dispatching will be
an advanced/senior dispatcher and take on dispatch during longer stretches of calls and etc more complicated things all dispatchers
have the oppurtunity to take on these classes through us. *inorder to take the TCO class B you must complete a Class
A training through Chief 1, 2 or 3. And must be checked off.*
Those are our four different types of membership each with a little description.
